How to Register To Vote In Arizona State

As a resident of Arizona state, you can register to vote for the 60th US presidential election (to be held on Nov 5th, 2024) using the following steps:

Confirm Your Voter Eligibility

To register you must meet the following criteria:
  • be a US Citizen (including those born in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
  • be a resident of Arizona and your county at least 29 days preceding the next election
  • be 18 years old on or before the next general election
  • not have been convicted of treason or a felony (or have had your civil rights restored)
  • not currently be declared an incapacitated person by a court of law

Online Registration

To register online you need:
  • An Arizona driver's license or non-operating identification license issued after October 1, 1996.
  • The residence address where you are registering.
Navigate to Arizona's online voter registration and complete the form before the Online Registration Deadline: October 7th, 2024

Mail-in Registration

  1. Download the Federal Voter Registration Form
  2. Print out the form (pages 4 and 5) and fill it out using our helpful tips below.
    • Fill out the form with your personal information.
    • #6 ID Number. Your completed voter registration form must contain the number of your Arizona driver license, or non-operating identifcation license issued pursuant to A.R.S. § 28-3165, if the license is current and valid. If you do not have a current and valid Arizona driver license or non-operating identifcation license, you must include the last four digits of your social security number if one has been issued to you. If you do not have a current and valid driver license or non-operating identifcation license or a social security number, please write "NONE" on the form. A unique identifying number will be assigned by the Secretary of State.
    • #7 Choice of Party. If you are registered in a political party which has qualifed for ballot recognition, you will be permitted to vote the primary election ballot for that party. If you are registered as an independent, no party preference or as a member of a party which is not qualifed for ballot recognition, you may select and vote one primary election ballot for one of the recognized political parties.
    • #8 Race or Ethnic Group. Leave Blank.
    • #9 Signature Sign and date the application to attest the data you entered is true and that you meet eligibility requirements.
  3. Mail the completed form to the following address. The completed form must be postmarked by October 7th, 2024.
