How to Register To Vote In Nebraska State

Confirm Your Voter Eligibility

• be a US Citizen (including those born in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
• be a resident of Nebraska
• be at least 18 years of age or will be 18 years of age on or before the frst Tuesday afer the frst Monday of November
• not have been convicted of a felony, or if convicted, it has been at least two years since you have completed your sentence for the felony,including any parole term
• not have been officially found to be mentally incompetent

Online Registration

• A Nebraska driver's license or state ID card number.
• The last four digits of your Social Security Number.
• Your date of birth.

Mail-in Registration

1. Download the Federal Voter Registration Form
2. Print out the form (pages 4 and 5) and fill it out using our helpful tips below.
   • Fill out the form with your personal information.
   • #6 ID Number. You must provide your Nebraska driver's license number. If you do not have a Nebraska driver's license number then you must list the last four digits of your social security number.
   • #7 Choice of Party. You must register with a party if you want to take part in that party's primary election, caucus, or convention.
   • #8 Race or Ethnic Group. Leave Blank.
   • #9 Signature Sign and date the application to attest the data you entered is true and that you meet eligibility requirements.
3. Mail the completed form to the following address. The completed form must be received by October 25th, 2024.
