How to Register To Vote In Oregon State

Confirm Your Voter Eligibility

• be a US Citizen (including those born in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
• Be a resident of Oregon
• Be at least 16 years of age when registering. If you are not yet 18, you will not receive a ballot until an election occurs on or afer your 18th birthday.

Online Registration

• An Oregon driver's license, permit, or ID card number issued by the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
• Date of birth.
• Name as it appears on your Oregon DMV document.

Mail-in Registration

1. Download the Federal Voter Registration Form
2. Print out the form (pages 4 and 5) and fill it out using our helpful tips below.
   • Fill out the form with your personal information.
   • #6 ID Number. To be eligible to vote in Oregon elections, you must provide a valid Oregon License, Permit or ID number. If you do not have an Oregon-issued ID, then you will have to provide at least the last four digits of your social security number. If you have neither, you will need to write "NONE" on the form.
   • #7 Choice of Party. In many cases, you must register with a party if you want to take part in that party's primary election. If you are not a member of a party or this space is lef blank, you will be registered as a non-affiliated voter.
   • #8 Race or Ethnic Group. Leave Blank.
   • #9 Signature Sign and date the application to attest the data you entered is true and that you meet eligibility requirements.
3. Mail the completed form to the following address. The completed form must be received by October 15th, 2024.
