How to Register To Vote In Hawaii State
As a resident of Hawaii state, you can register to vote for the 60th US presidential election (to be held on Nov 5th, 2024) using the following steps:

Confirm Your Voter Eligibility
To register you must meet the following criteria:
- be a US Citizen (including those born in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
- be a resident of the State of Hawaii
- be at least 16 years old (you must be 18 years old by election day in order to vote)
- not be incarcerated for a felony conviction
- not be adjudicated by a court as "non compos mentis"
Online Registration
To register online you need:
- A current Hawaii driver's license or state ID
- The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
- A residential address in the state of Hawaii
- Date of Birth
Navigate to Hawaii's online voter registration and complete the form before the Online Registration Deadline: November 5th, 2024
Mail-in Registration
- Download the Federal Voter Registration Form
- Print out the form (pages 4 and 5) and fill it out using our helpful tips below.
- Fill out the form with your personal information.
- #6 ID Number. When you register to vote, you must provide your Hawaii driver's license or State identifcation number, if you have one. If you do not have a driver's license or ID number, you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). If you do not have any of this information, the Clerk's Office will issue you a unique identifcation number, which will serve to identify you for voter registration purposes.
- #7 Choice of Party. A "choice of party" is not required for voter registration.
- #8 Race or Ethnic Group. Completing this box is optional.

- Black, not of Hispanic Origin

- White, not of Hispanic Origin

- #9 Signature Sign and date the application to attest the data you entered is true and that you meet eligibility requirements.
- Mail the completed form to the following address. The completed form must be received by October 26th, 2024.
