How to Register To Vote In Pennsylvania State

Confirm Your Voter Eligibility

• be a US Citizen (including those born in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
• have held US citizenship for at least one month before the next election
• be a resident of Pennsylvania and your election district at least 30 days before the election
• be at least 18 years of age on the day of the next election

Online Registration

• Pennsylvania driver's license or PennDOT ID card.
• The last 4 digits of your SSN if you do not have a Pennsylvania driver's license or PennDOT ID card.
• A current and valid email address.
• The address where you are registered to vote.

Mail-in Registration

1. Download the Federal Voter Registration Form
2. Print out the form (pages 4 and 5) and fill it out using our helpful tips below.
   • Fill out the form with your personal information.
   • #6 ID Number. You must supply a Driver's License Number, if you have one. If you do not have a Driver's License Number, you must supply the last four digits of your Social Security Number. If you do not have either form of ID, please write "NONE" in the box.
   • #7 Choice of Party. You must register with a major party if you want to take part in that party's primary election.
   • #8 Race or Ethnic Group. You are requested to fill in this box.
     Use the choice that best describes you from the list below:
     • American Indian or Alaskan Native
     • Asian or Pacifc Islander
     • Black, not of Hispanic Origin
     • Hispanic
     • Multi-racial
     • White, not of Hispanic Origin
     • Other
   • #9 Signature Sign and date the application to attest the data you entered is true and that you meet eligibility requirements.
3. Mail the completed form to the following address. The completed form must be received by October 21st, 2024.
